Bamenda Provincial Episcopal Conference (BAPEC)
The Bamenda Provincial Episcopal Conference is one of the five Ecclesiastical Provinces of Cameroon and is made up of the Archdiocese of Bamenda, the Diocese of Buea, the Diocese of Kumbo, the Diocese of Mamfe and the Diocese of Kumba.
The Bishops of this Ecclesiastical Conference founded the Catholic University of Cameroon (CATUC) in 2010 and are the owners of the University. They form the Board of Trustees of the University.

The Chancellor of the Catholic University of Cameroon (CATUC) is the Archbishop of Bamenda, His Grace Cornelius Fontem Esua, who is also the Metropolitan of the Province.
The Pro Chancellor of the University is His Lordship George Nkuo, Bishop of Kumbo Diocese. He is currently the President of the Bamenda Provincial Episcopal Conference and Vice President of the National Episcopal Conference of Cameroon.
The Vice Chancellor
Fr Joseph Awoh Jum is the Vice Chancellor of the Catholic University of Cameroon (CATUC) Bamenda. Appointed to CATUC in 2013 to succeed Bishop Andrew Nkea as Registrar, he was appointed Acting Vice Chancellor in August 2016, a post which he cumulated with his job as Registrar. In August 2017 he was appointed Vice Chancellor. His expertise is in Educational Leadership and Management and Catholic Education.
The Deputy Vice Chancellor - Academics
Rev. Sr. Euphrasia Yuh is the current DVCA of CATUC. She took over from Professor Paul Nkwi in 2016. Sr. Euphrasia is a seasoned Professor of Education who plied her trade in the University of Buea until her retirement. She is a member of the Tertiary Sisters of St. Francis (TSSF) and former Provincial of the Congregation.
Rev. Fr Eugen Nkardzedze (PhD)
In August 2017, the Bishops of the Bamenda Ecclesiastical Province appointed Fr Eugen Nkardzedze Acting Registrar for the Catholic University of Cameroon. In the meantime, Fr Eugen is providing cover for the Deputy Registrar for Infrastructure and Plant Development until one is appointed. He is an alumnus of the Catholic University of America (CUA). He is a Systematic Theologian.
The Deputy Registrar - Students' Affairs
Mrs Elgard Song was appointed to the post of Deputy Registrar for Students’ Affairs in August 2016 and took over from Fr. Jervis Kebei who was appointed to the National Episcopal Conference of Cameroon as Deputy Secretary General. She is a product of the Catholic University of Cameroon MBA Programme and served previously as EA to the Registrar.
The Director of Finance
The post of the Director of Finance is currently vacant and the Board of Trustees is looking to appoint a candidate to that position soon.
The Director of Exams
Fr Anthony Yilaka, a member of the pioneer Management Team of CATUC is Director of Examinations. He was appointed to that position in 2016. Prior to that, he had served as Deputy Registrar for Infrastructure, Plant and Development from 2010 when the University was founded. He expertise is in Dogmatic Theology.
Director of Teaching /DeanFaculty of Humanities & Social Sciences
Fr Peter Takov was appointed Director of Teaching in 2016 and is serving his first term in that office. Prior to his appointment to CATUC, Fr Takov had been teaching Philosophy in St. Thomas Aquinas Major Seminary in Bambui for several years.
Provost - School of Health and Medical Sciences
Professor Robert J. I. Leke is the provost of the school of health and medical sciences and professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Cameroon He has been practicing for more than 38 years as a physician with a greater part of these years as gynecologist/obstetrician. He has conducted consultancies for the World Bank, USAID, JHPIEGO, WHO, and Engender Health and also a Fellow of the West African College of Surgeons.

Dr. Joseph Berinyuy
Provost - School of Tropical Agriculture & Natural Resources
Dr Dominic Njualem is the provost of the School of Agriculture and Natural Resources. He has a vast experience in agricultural research and has to his credit and that of his collaborators in IRAD, improved species of potatoes and Maize that have been multiplied and grown locally.
Dean - Facutly of Science
Professor Fai Francis Mbuntum is the Dean of the Faculty of science and a professor of mathematics. He is well known in the Cameroon academia haven lectured in the University of Yaounde I and the niversity of Buea were he served as the head of the department of Mathematics. He a member of the African Institute of Mathematics –Cameroon.
